Product Description
Eastman™ Chlorinated Polyolefin 164-1 (100% Solids) has an 18-23 wt. % chlorine content and a softening point of 80 - 105 degrees C. It is soluble in toluene and xylene. The limited solubility of CP 164-1 increases the resistance of the primer coat to re-dissolve during topcoat application. Eastman™ Chlorinated Polyolefin 164-1 (100%) was developed to improve not only initial adhesion, but also to improve adhesion after exposure to humidity and gasoline.
