Highly aromatic modified
Low color, low softening point C5/C9 tackifier resin
Low softening point promotes high tack, improved low temperature properties
Product Description
Piccotac™ 7050 hydrocarbon resin is a low softening point, aromatic modified C5 resin. This light colored resin is designed for use in adhesive systems based on either aliphatic or aromatic elastomers. Due to its unique properties, Piccotac 7050 can be used at a higher level than typical hydrocarbon tackifiers and its high level of aromatic modification can permit the use of block copolymers with higher styrene content. It is stabilized by the addition of antioxidant.

Packaging
Piccotac™ 7050 is supplied in molten tank trucks (42 k lbs/truck).
Storage
The useful life of this product can be affected by storage and handling conditions. When stored in the original unopened container in an enclosed area and protected from moisture, extreme temperatures and contamination, the shelf life of this product is estimated to continue to meet applicable sales specifications for two years from the date of manufacture. Shelf life is a guide not an absolute value. The product should be reanalyzed for critical properties at the end of its shelf life to see if it meets specification for use.
