Handling Precautions
Naia™ yarn cases should be handled in an upright position. Cases should be opened carefully so as not to cut into the case with sharp objects. Naia™ yarn packages should be handled so filaments are not broken and edges of the yarn package are not rolled. For cardboard case yarn, the plastic bags on yarn packages are best removed by splitting down the bag seam, as opposed to rapidly pulling the plastic bag off the end of the yarn package. Any sloughed, disturbed, or damaged yarn encountered in unpacking or creeling of yarn packages should be removed by air doffing or reeling off before placing yarn into processing.

Storage
Naia™ yarn is a very stable product under normal storage conditions. The yarn should not be stored under extremely high-humidity/high-temperature conditions, where it is wet, or where there are high levels of chemical vapors because the yarn is hygroscopic. Naia™ yarn should be stored upright in above-ground, covered or enclosed, dry, ventilated warehousing and in closed or secured packages (unopened containers). Additionally, cases or tray packs of Naia™ yarn should not be stacked more than three high.
