Product Description
Eastar™ GN046 copolyester is a high-melt-strength copolyester designed for extrusion blow-molded bottles and jars for use in food and beverage and consumer housewares applications. It is best suited for containers that hold lighter contents such as small-volume liquids and lighter solids. GN046 has great aesthetics and excellent process ease. It has high-gloss clarity and is free of gels and unmelts that are common in some competitive resins. GN046 is a hassle-free, economical choice for replacing materials of concern such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in consumer packaging. This product is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 51 for Food Equipment Materials.
