Product Description
Eastman Aventa™ Renew is a new family of compostable materials derived from responsibly sourced wood pulp and certified recycled content, which enables customers to reduce consumption of fossil feedstock-based plastics and achieve sustainability targets without compromising quality and consumer experience. Eastman Renew materials have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global independent agency for tracking sustainable content in a variety of industries. Eastman Renew materials are produced with ISCC certified circular content by mass balance allocation.


Eastman Aventa™ Renew FT1200-43 compostable material is a food contact grade noted for its excellent balance of heat resistance and toughness making it ideal for extruded straws and films/sheet. Food service articles including straws (8 mil thick), films (10 mil thick), and foamed sheet (max. 36 mil thick at <0.7 g/cm3 density, max. 200 mil thick at <0.2 g/cm3 density) made from Eastman Aventa™ Renew FT1200-43 compostable material are BPI certified as industrial compostable* and have received TUV-Austria home certification.**
