Product Description
Eastar™ Renew GN071-100 copolyester is a sustainable, clear copolyester used in a variety of packaging and consumer product applications, including food and beverage packaging, general-purpose packaging, flexible film packaging, and consumer products. It is among the easiest resins to extrude into thin films and rigid, thermoformed containers. Eastar™ Renew GN071-100 copolyester enables fast-moving consumer goods brand owners to reduce their consumption of plastics made from fossil feedstocks, satisfy NGO (nongovernmental organizations) and governmental requirements for sustainability, reduce their carbon footprint, and be fast movers in a growing market for sustainable consumer products. Packaging converters prefer Eastar™ Renew GN071-100 copolyester for its best-in-class processing ease, sustainability without compromise, energy efficiency, thermoformability, and versatility.
Eastman Renew polymers have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global, independent agency for tracking sustainable content in a variety of industries. Renew polymers are produced with ISCC-certified circular content by mass balance allocation.
Eastar™ Renew GN071-100 copolyester may be used in various food contact applications under the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
