Product Description
Eastman Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-10 copolyester is a high flow product designed and engineered for many different applications. Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-10 exhibits excellent color and clarity with excellent mechanical performance, providing superior aesthetics and great durability. Other outstanding features include excellent chemical resistance and high gloss appearance for excellent shelf-appeal. Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-10 has excellent flow which results in processing improvements such as faster cycle times, and lower scrap rates even in parts with complex geometries. Cristal™ Renew DN500MR-10 contains a mold release derived from animal based sources.
Under existing United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, DN500 may be used in food contact articles which comply with the specifications and conditions of use in 21 CFR 177.1240. The product is certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 51.
Eastman Renew polymers have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global, independent agency for tracking sustainable content in a variety of industries. Renew polymers are produced with ISCC certified circular content by mass balance allocation.
Renew polymers enable a brand to reduce consumption of fossil feedstock-based plastics, achieve sustainability targets without compromise, and be a fast mover in a growing market for sustainable consumer products.
