Product Description
Eastman Tritan™ GX100 copolyester is a clear plastic that is increasingly popular for protective barriers used to limit the spread of viruses like COVID-19, including sneeze guards where durability and resistance to harsh disinfectants is crucial. Tritan GX100 is a good alternative to polycarbonate (PC) and acrylic (PMMA) for heavy-gauge sheet.
Tritan GX100 can be found in a variety of heavy-gauge sheet end uses, including sneeze guards, separation barriers, outdoor signs, displays/in-store fixtures and heat-sensitive applications in hospitals, office buildings, schools, and retailers. It has glasslike clarity and is free of materials of concern, including BPA.
Hospitals prefer Tritan due to its resistance to harsh disinfectants, including Super Sani-Cloth® wipes, Virex®, and a variety of other common hospital cleaning agents. This allows Tritan to resist breakage and discoloration, therefore lasting longer than other alternatives.
Tritan GX100 is also the material of choice for outdoor signs and other end uses that require high durability and heat resistance.
Sheet made from Eastman Tritan™ GX100 copolyester is available throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Ask your contractor, fabricator, distributor, or e-retailer to specify Tritan GX100 for your next project.
