Product Description
Naturally derived, non-microplastic biodegradable¹, and non-nano² cellulose ester micropowder. When added to cosmetic and personal care products Eastman Esmeri™ CC1N10 provides long-lasting soft focus properties and leaves a matte skin finish while improving texture and sensorial experience.

Formulation
Formulation guidelines
Eastman Esmeri™ CC1N10 is intended to use in lipophilic formulations.
Disperse the powder into the oil phase of the formulation under continuous mixing or if incorporated into the pigment phase, use usual pigment dispersion method (three-roll-mill for example).
In low viscosity W/O emulsions, the powder can be added at the end of the formulation, under continuous mixing.

Recommended usage level
Emulsions: 3 – 7%
Anhydrous systems: 3 – 9%
Powders: 5 – 20%
