Product Description
Eastman™ Propionaldehyde is a colorless, flammable liquid, having a pungent, unpleasant odor and used primarily as a chemical intermediate. It undergoes reactions typical of the low molecular weight aldehydes, which, because of the terminal carbonyl group, are very reactive. They are readily oxidized or reduced and take part in numerous addition reactions.
