Product Description
Modern packaging formulations are expected to deliver stunning colors, high print throughput, flawless finishes, and durable graphics, all while protecting the safety of end-users. Eastman Solus™ 1425 performance additive is designed to deliver on the high performance expectations required of ink and metal packaging formulations. This cellulose-based additive is compatible with many ink resins (e.g. polyurethane, acrylic) and solvents (e.g. ester, ketone, ether), and has good organic & inorganic pigment dispersing to bring high tint strength for ink. The high Tg of this material enables good heat resistance and anti-blocking ability for performance and operational benefits. Solus™ 1425 is delivered as a free-flowing powder with low odor and low color.
Eastman Solus™ 1425 is based on cellulose, one of Earth's most abundant natural renewable resources.
