Product Description
Pentalyn™ 755-M resin is a phenolic modified rosin ester with high molecular weight, which offers the high viscosity of many resins of its kind, but with considerably better solubility in mineral oils. This resin also has excellent reactivity to gelling agents, offering high viscosity and excellent solubility in mineral oils. This resin also offers excellent reactivity to aluminum gelling agents, promotes fast anchorage and offers good shine, making it ideal for lithographic or offset inks in Heat-Set and Quick-Set systems and as a modifying resin in flushing, designed for modern high-speed printing equipment.

Compatibility and Solubility
Compatible with vegetable oils, tall oil alkyd resins, hydrocarbonaceous resins and other rosin based resins. It has partial solubility in mineral oils, soluble in aromatic solvents (Toluene, Xylene) and partial solubility in aliphatic solvents (Gas-naphtha, gas solvent). This resin is insoluble in alcohols.

Storage
The large contact surface the pieces of resin present make them susceptible to gradual oxidation, which can be more advanced in some batches than others. This can cause darkening and/or affect the resin’s solubility in organic solvents. Therefore, we strongly recommend keeping strict control of inventories at all times, and taking special care to ensure that the oldest material is used first. We suggest a shelf life of 1 year for this product.
