Product Description
Dresinate™ 91 rosin soap is a fluid, high solids, aqueous solution of potassium soap of tall oil rosin. It is designed primarily for applications that require soap solutions of as low a water content as practical and of viscosity low enough that it is possible to pump the soap at practical temperatures. It is used as an emulsifier ingredient in solvent cleaners and soluble oils for metal cleaning. Dresinate™ 91 provides highly stable emulsions over a wide range of water hardness when used in combination with petroleum sulfonates in soluble oil formulations.

Compatibility and Solubility
Compatible in soluble oil formulations and solvent cleaners with mineral oil, petroleum sulfonates, glycols, butanol, fatty acid soaps, and nonionic surfactants.

Packaging
Liquid, in bung-type and open-headed metal drums (465 lbs, 211 kg, net wt).

Storage
Resins are prone to gradual oxidation, some more so than others. This could result in darkening and/or it could have an adverse effect on the solubility of the resin in organic solvents or on its compatibility with polymers. Accordingly, it is recommended that strict control of inventory be observed at all times, taking care that the oldest material is used first. Material will remain within product specification limits for a period of at least 1 year after shipment from Eastman''s production facilities, provided recommended storage conditions are observed. However, as neither the processing conditions for the product, nor the end use applications for which it is used can be anticipated and extreme conditions can affect the product quality, it is recommended that the material be tested upon receipt.
