Product Description
Tacolyn™ 3570 Resin Dispersion is an anionic, aqueous, solvent-free, and APE (alkylphenol ethoxylate) free dispersion of a stabilized rosin ester. It is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesives based on acrylic polymer emulsions or carboxylated SBR polymer emulsions, where it greatly enhances the tack and peel to polyethylene and carton board

Compatibility and Solubility
Compatible at all ratios, or in limited but useful proportions, with latices and other aqueous systems of natural rubber, SBR, NBR, butadiene, isoprene, butyl, and neoprene synthetic rubbers; polyacrylic emulsions, VA-E (vinyl acetate-ethylene) copolymers and ethylene vinyl acetate-acrylate terpolymers. When strongly alkaline or acidic additives are added to Tacolyn™ 3570 Resin Dispersion, gross localized pH-variations should be avoided, as these can lead to destabilization and grit formation. When mixed with cationic substances, Tacolyn™ 3570 Resin Dispersion may precipitate.

Packaging
Tacolyn™ 3570 Resin Dispersion is supplied in bulk in road tank trucks and in polyethylene semi-bulk containers with a net weight of 1000 kg from Eastman production facilities in USA. United States facility also has 445# fiber drums available.

Storage

The useful life of this product can be affected by storage and handling conditions. This dispersion will remain within product specification limits for at least 274 days from date of manufacture from an Eastman production facility provided that storage conditions are observed.

The recommended storage temperature range is 50°-100°F. This resin dispersion may be irreparably damaged if frozen. Accordingly, all shipments in cold climate areas are made in insulated or heated carriers. It is recommended that strict control of inventory be observed at all times, taking care that the oldest material is used first.
