KDDC solution should be stored in its original container or a stainless steel tank in a ventilated location.
Keep away from acids to avoid release of CS2.
Do not store >35°C / <15°C for prolonged time.
KDDC solution corrodes copper, zinc and their alloys. On contact with ordinary steel it rapidly forms a black precipitate.
The following plastics are suitable for joints and pipes: HD polyethylene, polypropylene, polytetrafluoro-ethylene (Teflon) and polyamide (Nylon 6).
Our trails have shown that KDDC solutions show no variation in assay after storage in the original pack below 30°C for 24 months.
KDDC is very toxic to aquatic organisms, release into the environment must be avoided. In the event of accidental spillage, cover the product with an absorbent material and send to a treatment plant for chemical waste. Do not release KDDC solutions into the drains.
