Product Description
Dimethylammonium Chloride 70% (DMA.HCl 70%) is available as an aqueous solution in a concentration up to 70%.

DMA.HCl is mainly used in Mannich reactions. The product is used as building block in pharmaceuticals for the treatment of diabetes type II, stomach ulcers, analgesics, as well as other disorders. Other fields of application are in agrochemical synthesis and formulation of solder fluxes.

DMA.HCl aqueous solution is corrosive to steel. It is advisable to store it in tanks made of polyethylene or of materials protected by a coating, resistant to chlorides.

Avoid neutralization with a base as this would result in release of dimethylamine, which is an extremely flammable, foul smelling gas.
