Product Description
Eastman Tritan™ DX3500 is an amorphous copolyester with superior impact resistance compared to conventional clear engineering thermoplastics and outstanding top-rack dishwasher durability. Its most outstanding features are excellent toughness, high stiffness, chemical resistance to sunscreen and citrus, and high flow. A versatile polymer, the properties of Tritan DX3500 enable it to be used in a broad array of manufacturing processes including injection molding, injection stretch blow molding, reheat stretch blow molding, and extrusion. Tritan™ DX3500 may be used in repeated use food contact articles under United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.

aUnless noted otherwise, all tests are run at 23°C (73°F) and 50% relative humidity.
bUnless noted otherwise, the test method is ASTM.
cUnits are in SI or US customary units.
dBased on a 35 kg (78 lb) hopper desiccant dryer. Larger hoppers may require lower temperatures to avoid sticking
eBased on an 87°C drying temperature and starting moisture level of 5400 ppm or 0.54% with average ambient conditions of 8.3C (47F) and 60% RH. Higher starting moisture levels, lower drying temperatures, and/or higher humidity and higher temperature ambient conditions will require longer drying times to reach moisture levels below 300 ppm or 0.03% as recommended
