Product Description
Eastman Tritan™ Renew DX4001-50 Natural is an amorphous copolyester with excellent appearance and clarity. Eastman Tritan™ Renew DX4001-50 Natural contains a mold release derived from vegetable-based sources. Its most outstanding features include excellent heat and chemical resistance, toughness, and hydrolytic stability. The chemical resistance of Eastman Tritan™ Renew DX4001-50 Natural make it an ideal polymer solution for beverageware and small appliance applications where sunscreen/essential oil, citrus, and alcohol resistance are needed in order to maintain clarity and appearance. In addition, the outstanding chemical resistance and hydrolytic stability of Eastman Tritan™ Renew DX4001-50 Natural copolyester delivers enhanced durability in the heat, humidity and aggressive chemical environment in both residential and commercial dishwashers.

Eastman Renew polymers have been certified by International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), a global, independent agency for tracking sustainable content in a variety of industries. Renew polymers are produced with ISCC certified circular content by mass balance allocation.

Renew polymers enable a brand to reduce consumption of fossil feedstock-based plastics, achieve sustainability targets without compromise, and be a fast mover in a growing market for sustainable consumer products.

aUnless noted otherwise, all tests are run at 23°C (73°F) and 50% relative humidity.
bUnless noted otherwise, the test method is ASTM.
cUnits are in SI or US customary units.
dBased on a 35 kg (78 lb) hopper desiccant dryer. Larger hoppers may require lower temperatures to avoid sticking
eBased on an 87°C drying temperature and starting moisture level of 5400 ppm or 0.54% with average ambient conditions of 8.3C (47F) and 60% RH. Higher starting moisture levels, lower drying temperatures, and/or higher humidity and higher temperature ambient conditions will require longer drying times to reach moisture levels below 300 ppm or 0.03% as recommended
