Product Description
Eastman Tritan™ FX400 is a copolyester resin for extruded film applications where enhanced heat resistance and toughness are required. It works great in hot fill packaging for food, transaction and identification cards, and protective laminates. This product is intended for single and repeated use applications.

Packaging brands and film converters prefer Tritan FX400 for its ability to provide a clear, aesthetically pleasing package that stands up to the strenuous requirements for hot filling, while also providing safety that consumers expect. Its great for brands looking to replace materials of concern or differentiate their packaging by transitioning from opaque to clear.

Transaction and identification card producers, brands, and governments alike value Tritan FX400 for its excellent bend strength and chemical resistance, which can provide longer useful life and better security.

Tritan FX400 may be used in various food contact applications under the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.

dBased on a 35 kg (78 lb) hopper desiccant dryer. Larger hoppers may require lower temperatures to avoid sticking
eBased on an 87°C drying temperature and starting moisture level of 5400 ppm or 0.54% with average ambient conditions of 8.3C (47F) and 60% RH. Higher starting moisture levels, lower drying temperatures, and/or higher humidity and higher temperature ambient conditions will require longer drying times to reach moisture levels below 300 ppm or 0.03% as recommended
